GMB Services Sdn Bhd (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the GloMaths mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App. The App and its services are available exclusively through the mobile application and are not accessible via a public website.

Because our App uses a secure WebView to display content, the information collected is similar to what a website might collect, but is only processed inside the App environment.

1.1 Information Provided by Administrators

Student accounts are created by authorised tuition centre or school administrators — not by students themselves. Administrators provide:

• Student details such as name and username when setting up an account.
• Class or branch assignment information.

Administrators and teachers may also provide their own account details (name, email address) when registering their institution.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information (model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, unique device identifiers).
• Usage data, such as pages/screens viewed and actions taken within the App.
• IP address (used for security and abuse prevention only).
• Cookies and local storage used within the App’s WebView to enable core functionality.

2. How We Use Information

• Operate and maintain the App’s features.
• Provide secure and personalized user experiences.
• Communicate with you regarding updates, support, or account matters.
• Improve performance and troubleshoot issues.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share student data with advertising networks or third-party marketers. We may share information only with:

• The tuition centre or school administrator who manages the student's account.
• Service providers that support the operation of the App under confidentiality agreements.
• Legal authorities when required to comply with the law or protect rights and safety.

4. Cookies & Tracking

The App’s WebView may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and performance optimization. These are stored on your device and are only accessible to the App.

5. WebView Disclosure

The App renders content using a secure WebView. This means:

• All content is loaded and processed inside the App environment.
• No public web access is provided for these services.
• Data transmitted through the WebView is encrypted where applicable.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law.

8. Children’s Privacy

GloMaths is an educational mathematics application designed for students aged 6 and above. The App is intended to be used under the supervision of a tuition centre, school, or educational institution. Student accounts are created and managed by authorised administrators (tuition centre operators or teachers) — students do not self-register.

Because the App is directed at children and is used in an educational setting, we follow applicable children’s privacy laws, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) where applicable:

• Account creation by educators only: Student accounts are set up by the tuition centre or school administrator, not by the student or parent directly. By creating a student account, the administrator confirms they have obtained appropriate parental or guardian consent for the student to use the App.
• Limited data collection: We collect only the information necessary to operate the educational service — such as name, username, and learning progress. We do not collect sensitive personal information from students beyond what is required.
• No third-party advertising: We do not display advertisements to students and do not share student data with advertising networks.
• No direct marketing to children: We do not use student information for marketing purposes.
• Content moderation: All content within the App (exercises, levels, posts) is created and managed by authorised administrators only. Students cannot post or publish unrestricted content.
• Parental rights: Parents or guardians may contact the tuition centre or school administrator, or contact us directly at info@gmb-apps.com, to review, correct, or request deletion of their child’s information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child’s information has been collected without proper consent, please contact us immediately at info@gmb-apps.com so we can take appropriate action.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below.
